To better accommodate visitors to the State Fair of Texas, which begins next Friday, Sept. 30 and continues through Oct. 23, Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) will be implementing the following schedule changes starting Monday, Sept. 26:
- Extra Green Line trains will run on a loop between downtown Dallas and Fair Park approximately every 10 minutes from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Monday-Friday and from 9 a.m.-6 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays.
- Orange Line service will be extended to Plano’s Parker Road Station on all trips, weekdays and weekends (except for Saturday, Oct. 8).
- Trinity Railway Express will operate on all four Sundays during the fair.
In addition, DART continues to closely monitor its new bus network and evolving GoLink on-demand system to meet customer needs, and a number of adjustments have taken effect or will become effective Sept. 26. Visit www.dart.org/servicechange for updates.
