RICHARDSON – Richardson Traffic Operations spent part of the day testing school zone signals in preparation for the first day of school.
The annual testing helps staff make sure the flashers are working properly. It also gets drivers used to slowing down in school zones.
The first day of school is Wednesday, Aug. 10 for PISD students and Tuesday, Aug. 16 for RISD students.
