The 2022 Richardson Reads One Book (RROB) program wrapped up this week with two opportunities for the public to meet and hear from Imbolo Mbue, author of the 2022 RROB selection, “Behold the Dreamers.” Mbue was interviewed Tuesday at a luncheon held at UT Dallas and later that day discussed her book in front of a large audience in the Richardson High School auditorium, and autographed copies of the book after each event.
The events marked the 19th year for the popular program, which brings the community together via a selected book each year. The program offers several ways to explore the selected book, such as discussion groups, brown bag history talks and craft activities, culminating in the author’s visit to Richardson. Next year’s selection is expected to be announced in April.
