Tomorrow is the last day for students to participate in the Martin Luther King, Jr. Essay Contest. Participants can submit their work at www.cor.net/EssayContest

Students interested in participating in the “Black History Month: Celebrating Diversity and Inclusion” Art Contest can do that now through the end of the month.

Both contests are open to students who live in Richardson or attend a school in Richardson.  Winning works will be published through the City’s communications channels, with the winning students receiving $200 and certificates of achievement from the Mayor and Council.

Every Tuesday, we will be showcasing past winners. This week, we’d like to introduce you to Hafsa Sayeed, who shared her award-winning art piece with us.

We invite you to visit www.cor.net/ArtContest for more information including contest rules and deadlines.
