The 49th Annual Christmas Parade was held today in Richardson with plenty of festive floats and holiday cheer.

“There’s No Place Like Home” was the theme and paid tribute to medical professionals who serve the Richardson community. From school groups and bands to civic organizations and our four-legged friends.

An awards ceremony was held at Santa’s Village earlier this evening with music by the Richardson Community Band and followed by the annual Tree Lighting Ceremony.

Division winners were awarded by a panel of 12 judges based off things like originality, representation of the theme, spirit, enthusiasm, and overall representation of their organization. Here are the winners:
